Accessibility
By the end of this course, students should:
- Understand how to use media based not only on their pedagogical tools but also on students’ likely strengths and access. (1.1)
- Understand how to select necessary course materials and technologies and keep cost and access in mind. (1.3)
- Identify available and accessible technologies outside the LMS for conferencing and office hours. (1.4)
- Identify means for assessing whether or not course materials are accessible, including students who might access materials through mobile technologies. (1.5 & 1.6)
- Identify multimedia elements of the online writing course that can supplement writing instruction and ways to ensure that instructional materials are offered in more than one medium. (1.9, 1.10, & 3.2)
